1. Information We Do NOT Collect (Zero Storage Architecture)

Unlike conventional fintech portals that require phone number verification or mandatory account registration, SalaryGrid is built on a Zero Storage Architecture. We do NOT collect, store, or log:

• Your Cost-to-Company (CTC), basic salary, bonuses, or monthly in-hand figures.
• Your income tax regime selections, investment deductions, or TDS computations.
• Your date of birth, age, or notice period start and end dates.
• Your loan amounts, bank interest rates, or mutual fund SIP investment sums.
• Your name, phone number, email, work history, education, or skills entered into the ATS Resume Builder.

2. Local Browser Storage (localStorage) & Auto-Save

To provide a seamless user experience, certain tools (such as the ATS Resume Builder) utilize your browser's native localStorage API to automatically save your draft progress locally on your computer or mobile device.

• Device Bound: This data resides exclusively on your personal device and is inaccessible to SalaryGrid or any third party.
• User Control: You can completely erase this data at any moment by clicking “Reset” in the tool or by clearing your browser's cache and website data.
• Offline JSON Export: You can export your data as a local .json file to store on your personal drive without any cloud dependency.

3. Client-Side PDF Generation

When you click “Download PDF” on the ATS Resume Builder, the document is compiled and rendered directly inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript libraries (HTML5 Canvas / client-side PDF renderers). The generated PDF file is downloaded straight to your device without passing through any remote intermediary server.

4. Anonymous Technical Telemetry & Web Analytics

To monitor website health, uptime, and page loading speeds, we collect standard, aggregated, and non-personally identifiable technical telemetry:

• Aggregate Traffic Analytics: We use privacy-compliant web analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate metrics like total page views, average session duration, referring domains, and browser device categories (Mobile vs Desktop).
• Standard Web Server Logs: Standard HTTP request logs (IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL timestamp) generated automatically for DDoS mitigation and server firewall security. Server logs are rotated and deleted periodically.

5. Cookies & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures

SalaryGrid does not use intrusive first-party tracking cookies or cross-site tracking beacons. Any cookies deployed on our platform serve strictly technical functions and third-party advertising compliance:

• Essential Technical Cookies: Remembering your theme preference, calculator inputs, or UI state locally during your active session.
• Google AdSense & Advertising Partners: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to SalaryGrid or other websites.
• Advertising Cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its advertising partners to serve relevant advertisements to users based on their visits to this site and other destinations across the Internet.

SalaryGrid is fully committed to the principles of data minimization and purpose limitation under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act, India) and global privacy benchmarks (GDPR / CCPA principles). Because we do not collect personal financial dossiers, your data privacy risks are inherently minimized.

7. Children's Online Privacy

SalaryGrid is designed for working professionals, job applicants, and students. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.
